Derivative 1. 早zǎo, morning

" The sun is just climbing up on the horizon ! In the morning, all creatures begin their activities ... " 

The character 早zǎo is derived from the radical 日Rì.It means "morning" for example 早餐Zǎocān “ breakfast”, or 早操 Zǎocāo  "gymnastics of mornings."   In China, in the morning people greet each other with the words 早安Zǎo ān "good day."
